Life and Death Business Rules using JBoss jBPM

Abstract:

Workflows are core to most business, even if they don't know it yet. Starting with a real 'life and death' sample this presentation shows why workflow is vital before showing why most workflows are badly implemented. Giving a summary of the available workflow frameworks, the lecture uses the JBoss jBPM and it's visual editors to show just how easy it is to implement distributed, long lived, multi user workflows in Java.
