Eclipse STP: SOA Tools Platform Project

Abstract: The Eclipse SOA Tools Platform Project (STP) is a collection of components for developers of SOA based applications and runtimes. It covers the complete life cycle from high level design of SOA Networks, implementation, test / debug and deployment. This presentation will give you an overview of the project, its background and goals together with a demonstration of some of the key concepts. These include developing Web Services using Java First & WSDL First techniques and showing how we can deploy web services to different flavours of runtimes. We will conclude by looking at newer components coming into the STP and a look at the roadmap for the project.
